Hearts Aflame Wall Hanging
This wall hanging is handcrafted from fine porcelain clay rolled out and sculpted and carved before being fired, carefully painted and fired again. I’ve finished It with a black velevet ribbon, a white/gold ribbon and a threaded stainless steel wire with a clear quartz point, pearls and red, white and black seed beads. This means the weight is distributed across the ribbons, allowing the beads to features as adornments without holding the hanging up structurally.
This artwork is a labour of love, crafted slowly over months combining mediums and exploring new things. Its intention is to remind you of the passion and fire in your heart, to let it burn away what needs to go so that you can be who you need to be. Hearts aflame, be brave and let it burn.
