Bespoke Wooden Box - High Summer
This wooden box is our most precious offering. Made only once in a singular small batch and never restocked, you know if you have one you are one of only a handful in the world to have this particular set.
An artists heirloom, the box contains 10 artisanally made watercolour paints, our High Summer Collection inspired by the little Aussie coastal town I call home. A beautiful cotton swatching card is included in each set with the collection name, and room for you to test your new paints. A label card is also included for your reference with each of the colours name.
The properties: Halo (single pigment, flat, semi-transparent), oyster (blend, shimmer, opaque), harbour (blend, shimmer, semi-opaque), Algea (blend, semitransparent, granulating), scallop (opaque, granulating, blend), torikina (semi opaque, blend, granulating), lobster (blend, semi opaque, granulating), starfish (blend, shimmer, granulating, opaque), Zulu (blend, staining, semi opaque, granulating) and Spinefex (granulating, semi opaque, blend).
The wooden boxes are all made from scratch in the studio. Cut, stained and assembled before we finish each lid with hand painted branding and adorn the lid with an Australian hand dug crystal for the handle. An extra little Smokey Quartz and brush cloth is included in this set.
Box is approximately 16.5 x 10.5cms and each pan contains a half pans + worth of paint. The paint pots in these box sets are always our largest.
Due to the handmade nature of these sets, they do have small imperfections which add character. We believe they add to their value, and so we do not consider them faults.
